WANTED: Scientists required to create inspirational videos!

Would you like to take part in a filming opportunity to inspire the next generation of scientists?  

Then you could take part in the regional museums project being run by the National HE STEM programme.

If the majority of the following bullet points describe you:

• Studied Physics, Chemistry, Engineering (all disciplines) or Mathematics at a Midlands or East Anglia University

• Attended a secondary school in the Midlands or East Anglia

• First person in your family to go to university

• Use your STEM discipline but not in a STEM business or organisation

Then you are eligible to apply! 

To get involved with this unique project please send:

• a short profile of your working life so far (half A4 absolute minimum)

• a photograph of you doing something away from work 

• availability between 1st-18th November 2011

• and location between those dates (please let us know if your employer will agree to filming taking place on location if you are at work during those dates)

to Annette Smart (a.smart@bham.ac.uk) by the deadline: 30th September 2011 

NB Filming will take approximately a half day.  Locations will depend entirely on where the successful applicants live/work. Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed however, your time sadly cannot be covered.
