The Hidden Science Map is here to inspire young people by showing them that science, technology, engineering and mathematics is everywhere, done at all levels and by all sorts of people and organisations. So thanks for putting a little time aside to help fill the map with interesting pins.

A few useful definitions...

'Science' for the purposes of the Hidden Science Map, means any science, health, technology, engineering or maths field.

Individuals, one profile for one person, can be an employee, self employed, and work alone, or with others, but an individual profile is for one person. You can also be a retired science person, or a science person in training or a science student.

Organisation, this includes any kind of science organisation, small, medium or large businesses, institutes, associations, chains or individual shops, museums etc - as long as it is a science organisation. You can also make a profile for your work team, this is a team within a science organisation - or a science team within a non-science organisation. We reserve the right not to publish profiles that are merely commercial advertisements for companies with no science careers information.

Place Portrait, these are the images that will make the map a bit more special. Can you get your whole organisation or team together for a posed and lovely place portrait? If you can, everyone can pin their profile to the place portrait. All place portraits are automatically entered into a competition for the best small, medium and large place portrait, prizes to be announced soon. Feel free to be creative.
